the lawyers from Alabama and Scalia. The lawyers want to claim racial discrimination is resolved while Scalia claims The Voting Rights Act is the "perpetuation of racial entitlement", arguments that are both aimed at repeal but diametrical opposed to each other. LOL

I thought The Voting Rights Act protected the right of all races to vote so how is that a "perpetuation of racial entitlement"?

I agree with Al. If you want to argue protection should be extended to all 50 states, that's one thing. But the arguments for repeal, both from Scalia and the Alabama lawyers make no sense.
