Had the blizzard and cold wave of February 1950 hit the Middle East about 2000 years earlier, it might’ve gotten into the Bible. The region, still in ruin and near-anarchy from a decade of wars, was unexpectedly paralyzed and isolated for days by record, sub-zero temperatures and snowstorms. Up to 15 inches of snow fell on the Dead Sea, reportedly covering its shores for the first in modern history. Northwestern Iran was cut off from the world by snowdrifts to 12 feet, and Syrian troops had to be sent to the city of Homs to help residents fight off hungry wolves.

In the fledgling nation of Israel, which was on the verge of bankruptcy and a refugee catastrophe, camp doctors and nurses went from tent to tent pleading with parents to let their children move indoors. There were more than 80,000 refugees from various nations living in tent cities throughout Israel, including tens of thousands of starving and sick Yemenites who arrived near the end of 1949. According to one news account, they were so frail that the chartered U.S. planes flying them in from Yemen were able to carry four times the normal number of passengers. Ninety percent of the Yemenite children and nearly half of the adults reportedly had malaria when they arrived. At the time of the history-making cold and snow, camp hospitals were still so over-crowded that beds only went to children near death. Thousands of Israeli families opened their homes to refugee children for the winter, but many mothers refused and some hid their kids. The same news report said the night of the 6th was “the coldest night of their lives.” High winds toppled 200 tents, and four Yemenites were killed when the tin roof of one mess hall collapsed under the weight of snow. Another died from pneumonia.
(Excerpt from "The Next One."

The total death toll in the region is still unknown, as is the number of lives saved by old enemies taking care of each others children.

Apparently FOX was showing a something claiming Obama was an enemy of Israel as he was getting this honor. As I understand it, never bestowed on an American POTUS before.

It's quite understandable that something like this must be really, really, really, really, really, really excruciatingly painful for FAKE NOISE!
