Ukraine National Guard collapsing? 'We're not paid, we don't have food'

RT • Published June 12, 2014

The Ukrainian government has been using National Guard conscripts alongside the regular army. The conscripts were the main force behind the military assaults in the east. But entire units have since headed back to Kiev, claiming they're unpaid and have been abandoned by the government.

Russia pillaged Ukraine for decades, leaving it a basket case at the collapse of the USSR, like all the Soviet countries were left wrecked and impoverished. Now RT/the Kremlin runs a propaganda piece that Ukrainian Army has no money? Sick.

DeSwiss, do you work for RT? The official logo on this post makes it look like it.

Didn't we just give them a billion dollars?

Congress Approves Aid of $1 Billion for Ukraine

Wonder where that went. Probably with the 9 billion dollars lost on a tarmac in Iraq.
