I am sorry it was fatal. That looks like at least an EF-4. Gack.

.... we are sitting ducks in the path of one of those things. If I lived anywhere out there in tornado alley, I would have to have a bunker way down in the ground for my neighbors and I to run to. The only good thing about living there is that the ground is flatter than a pancake and you can see & hear it coming from miles away. Of course, not good for those who have no safe place to go.
My heart goes out to all who lost loved ones or everything they owned or both.

is it possible to have triple, quadruple on the ground at the same time. I know I can find an answer on a search engine, not google, but just curious for the quick answer from some knowledgeable person. This is horrifying and all the science says these type of storms are going to get more intense and destructive because of climate change brought on by global warming. geez will we save ourselves in time, I wonder. Actuarially, I probably won't be here to see if that happens, so good luck to you young people.

Maybe they meant a double tornado involving one of this magnitude (the ones I saw were fairly small).

In any case, that was a horrible storm.

I'll risk my extreme cold weather and earthquakes! I hope the town gets the support it will need.
