Papantonio: The 2016 GOP Frontrunner Circus

Tea Party candidates are making some progress in the political arena, but there’s an even more dangerous rising star from the GOP that we need to be very afraid of: Jeb Bush.

Ring of Fire's Mike Papantonio talks about the scary idea of a Jeb Bush presidency with newspaper publisher Rick Outzen.

No question in my mind. This is the "new Willard the-draft-dodger" for the GOP. The perfect stuffed suit to prop up in front of the tube.

I think the far-right crazies in the party probably won't be able to get the Cruz/West ticket they'd love to see -- but they may well be able to block another "RINO". Both McCain and Romney made the pitch that a more centrist candidate would have the best chance to win the general election. Both of them lost. The GOP establishment may have trouble going to that well a third time.

The GOP base really despises Jeb. There's also the "Bush fatigue" factor working against him.

My money would be on a nominee who's at least somewhat palatable to both the party establishment and the Tea Partiers. Huckabee and Pence come to my mind as possibilities.

Jeb is the "smart one" so they say. Pick of the litter. What a joke, how smart would he have to be in THAT group, to be hailed as "smart"? Consider, W, Neal, Marvin (google that one, they keep him out of sight) His momma Barbara is such a warm, welcoming individual also "Who cares how many body bags come back today?" she announced when questioned WHY the victims were brought back at night, with no visuals allowed as long as they were not HER relatives. Where is W these days, defending his choices in these ill fated wars of his? Busy painting self portraits in an Assisted Living Facility? Remember how the gop covered for Reagan?

The game will be lined up meanwhile, and for all we know, everyone (define everyone, Pap!) decides ahead of time in Colorado.

I'd like someone to explain that one… I'm pretty much of the mind that it's a dog and pony show because the fascists have taken over and they control both parties.

There, I've said it… Now will SOMEBODY please get Comedy Central to play "Lil Bush" reruns in the meantime? I think I'd like to see "the smart one" as comic character he is.
