The hate mongers got their foot in the door on the gun issue. The NRA is directly responsible for ramping up this hatred.

The NRA represents the interests of the gun manufacturers. The moment President Obama was elected millions of these Righties® went out and bought weapons and ammunition. This made the gun manufacturers millions upon millions of dollars.

If there had been no candidate Obama, knowing what they now know, the NRA would have created him.

The best way forward is for the Democratic Party to completely abandon the gun issue.

The Democrats' attempts at gun control are similar to trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.

As someone who speaks politics quite often with both fellow aware folks as well as those still confined under a rock
(pick your definition as to what to call them as I do not and will not use labels having no real meaning as it just encourages their further use and abuse) I can think of a fairly long list of issues the Democrats waste an inordinate amount of time on pimping that do nothing but further diminish an already well rutted and eroded base.

Why is it that when I talk to even tea baggers I get many of them to agree with me on many issues?

It's because many of the issues they have are the same as mine yet I find myself voting Democratic only due to having no other choice and they vote Republican since Democrats demonize the tea baggers issues to serve as a wedge issue that benefits only the Oligarch's

Until WE the administrators finally take the asylum back from the patients who were quite happily allowed to take over by those who don't have to deal with the consequences of their actions we will,like any other insane person,keep doing the same thing and getting the same results and then being surprised when we do

Michael Savage deserves all the scorn and derision he gets

He is certainly all of this and more

But what he is not is Ineffective

He has a large audience of close to 8 million

He has a large following due to his methods of delivery

He moves far more people to the Republican side than maybe obvious on its face

Although Democrats and Liberals or Progressives or what ever label is now fashionable look at Michael Savage and his effective methods and feel they are well above use of them as they are the 'anointed' at least in their minds,you cannot argue with success.

No the anointed are just as much bumpkins and bubba's but they drive a Prius and drink wine

Methods of reaching them are the same as the opposition uses though

Until the real leaders in this country wise up to this fact and begin to address our side in a manner having equal appeal and lure and even defeat the monopolies now pushing only the likes of a Michael Savage and start taking some lesson's from Frank Luntz all is lost

And remember real leaders generally don't even realize they are a leader

It's only when the followers demand he lead that the leadership begins

Yes and Michael Savage is a true leader

It's just that his leadership will lead to the gates of hell
