U.S.: Oil production in 2015 to be highest since 1972

If this trend continues??

This will mean Industries lost over the years will come back in droves because the cost of Power will be cheaper than in so many years before...

The Folks most effected are the ones who made the Oil Prices rise through the roof in the first place..

Today the US in on top big time....

Out producing Russia two to one.....

Lets give Sara a hand Folks..

Drill baby drill was the ((one thing out of her mouth)) that was wise and true..

pollutes our ground water. To ignore the environmental impact of oil production is ignorant to say the least.
At $50 a barrel I doubt shale oil will be profitable cutting 2015 production.

Drilling on private land has always been taking place, and isn't what the whole debate was even about. You could always sink a well if you did it right, followed regulations, and paid for it.

The push to "drill baby drill" was about drilling on nationally held preserves, and ecologically sensitive lands. The big oil folks that Sarah was shilling for wanted to drill anywhere. It was about no regulations, which is a common theme of right wing shills.

It actually turns out we didn't need to do what they wanted at all.

Ever see a magician do a trick that just absolutely astounds you and you have to ask "how do they do that "

Well the entire oil boom thing is just that "a boom"

You know how long an explosion lasts right?

Well do a little research on you own and first find out just how much oil is extracted per well drilled and fracked, compare that to the number drilled, versus the worlds appetite for oil and then finally check on just how long you can extract oil from one of these wells before it's all gone.

Just like with the magician you will be astounded and with your new found knowledge will understand just how much of a farce the words "energy independent" really are.

BTW if you truly want to see some alternative to all this oil burning don't be a cheerleader for these volatile oil price 'ups and downs'.

Just talked to an engineer friend of mine who is losing his ass with a new Municipal Solid Waste to Diesel fuel venture.

He will be closing his doors in two weeks and laying off about 12 people.

Says he won't get caught doing this again even after the inevitable rise in oil prices (once Russia concedes to our demands of course)
Oh you didn't know that was the real reason oil prices were manipulated downward?

Welcome to the real world

Oh
And as for Sarah's 'drill baby drill'
Sarah will still be a blithering idiot long after these wells are all dried up and filled in
