2. I love how Thom points out that much of what Republicans loathe was supported by their idol, Reagan.

Whether it's torture, amnesty, taxes, federal spending, abortion or whatever, Republicans say they stand for one thing, uphold Reagan as the model of what a president should stand for, and refuse to acknowledge that his policies were often polar opposite.

Thom gave us a bonus this time by calling out Scalia as the hypocrite that he is by explaining Constitutional amendments that prohibit torture - things that a SCOTUS justice should know.

As Thom so aptly pointed out, the 8th Amendment of our Constitution clearly outlaws "cruel and unreasonable treatment"...so Scalia is just plain wrong, so whenever you can, point this out, y'know, over the Christmas Ham or whatever with Uncle Bob the ReThug, letters to the Editor, etc.
