TYT: Jim Webb Drops Out Of 2016 Race

Last edited Wed Oct 21, 2015, 01:49 PM - Edit history (1)

Down goes Jim Webb! Webb is the first Democratic candidate to drop out of the primaries. His 2016 campaign will be remembered mostly for one moment during the debate, when he said that he killed his greatest enemy. Cenk Uygur delivers his Final Judgment on Jim Webb.

#0 Sez: "In saner times, Jim Webb was a moderate Republican. I yearn for the day when he can go back to being a Republican- Though I doubt if I'll live to see it..."

I respect Webb for being instrumental in pass the ACA and other bills on the progressive agenda, but he never was a staunch Democrat in any sense of the word.
He had been a republican and only switched to Democrat when the repuKKKe brand was even too humiliating for him to deal with any longer. If he seriously thought even for a moment that his views represented the progressive/populist movement in this country, he was only trying to kid himself.
I was hoping he would stay in the race, if only to bring much needed exposure to issues that may very well be ignored without his presence.
