...allow smart gun regulation, support affirmative action, turn down bogus stratagems to prohibit abortion, etc, etc. Garland is a good man, an excellent judge, and the right man for the job right now.The Senate actually does have to approve Obama's pick, you know. Start looking at the world through the lens of reality, stop chasing unicorns.

No one is talking about a far left judge, just one who will uphold basic democratic principles like habeas corpus and getting rid of Citizen's United. As far as women's reproductive health he's a total unknown.

people on the left would be bitching and moaning about Garland. Instead, everyone wants to see him get the job. Brilliant move all around. You'd almost think it was planned this way. "Oh, please, please, appoint the corporatist judge. Please."
