not the shoot from the hip idiot. Certainly SOME of his supporters wanted exactly that. but the people I know that voted for him in the primaries are saying that they expected him to run a normal campaign afterwards. Much like we always hear "Run to the left/right in the primaries, run to the center in the general". Thats whats become expected. But he's not doing what they expected. And now they're stuck with him.
I told them this would happen. I told them, hey your best chance would be Kasich. They gave the standard "He's a RINO" answer.
So you got what you voted for & now you're stuck with him
And my other opinion is that he's never really wanted to win anyway. he just did this for publicity and never thought he'd win the primary

They assumed it was a planned political game, that Trump had control over it, and that he would 'pivot' to become serious when the time came.

And that was their great folly. Like Hillary has quoted, “When people show you who they are, believe them.”

I'm glad the guy has finally had his eyes opened, but I wonder if he'll go the extra mile and realize that it is asshole stains on humanity like him (the conservative talk radio guy) that guys like Trump can rise to power.

You (talk radio guy) created the environment for Trump, and you fired up the lab experiment.

Don't fucking boo hoo to us or him now.

Whatever misgivings you have about Trump, you pile of filth, have the courage to own him because he's totally your creation.

Since most people think of Ted Cruz as basically a cross between Jerry Sandusky and Josef Mengele, primary voters were desensitized to Trump's douchebaggery, now that he's running against a normal candidate, people who made the mistake of voting for Trump in the primary are scratching their heads saying "WTF was I thinking?"

agreeing with his current assessment - PLUS, or they're taking him to task for being fooled up until now. Some, I'm delighted to see, are voicing an indictment of hate radio and other GOP-slanted media (Pox Noise in particular) for making this bed in which the CONS all have to lay down. Hell, they didn't just make the bed. They build the whole freakin' bedroom! And provided plenty of sheets, blankets, bedspreads, pillows, and pillowcases!

Guess what GOPT, you don't get the luxury of saying you don't like Trump. He WON the primary out of 17 candidates you put up, and by a wide margin. This turd blossom is now the elected LEADER of the Republican Party, so get used to it. Why did it take so long to realize you had a problem here? Is it because you're too dumb to figure out that decades of pandering the the racists bigots and religious zealots you call a base produced this inevitable result? Cry me a river, STFU and enjoy the monster you created.
