The human race can be so appalling. Those idiots have no idea what their actions say about their souls.

And yet - the bravery shown by the people seated at the counter brings tears to my eyes. I know if this were a picture from MY past, I'd want to look back and see myself seated rather than standing in that crowd.

A group mentality with group courage, but I bet none of those standing would ever do what the sitters are doing.
