She was off her game tonight. Maybe others could hear her better. But Schumer was good at distinguishing disagreement over the wall from the shutdown. And he got in that Trump's promise was that Mexico would pay for the wall. He also mentioned that the wall wasn't the best way for border security, that there were other more efficient things to do on that. AND he stressed the harm being done to Americans who wouldn't be getting their paychecks, including small business owners and farmers who can't get desperately needed loans, veterans, and other people who would not be getting their paychecks.

I don't know if Pelosi mentioned that the Democrats offered him over $1 or $2 Billion last year, in return for supporting DACA reform, which he accepted, and then reneged on the next day. Like I say, I had trouble hearing all her words.

I noticed that too about Pelosi, she sounded like she just had dental work and her mouth was numb. Not bad, just not her usual self.

Missed opportunity.
