President Donald Trump Uses Oval Office Speech To Raise Money For Reelection | The Last Word | MSNBC

President Trump's Oval Office speech came with a pair of fundraising pleas to Trump supporters implying their donations were needed to secure the border. Steve Schmidt tells Lawrence O'Donnell that Trump's speech was "low energy."

He did commercials promoting the speech that were paid for by the committee to reelect Trump. Last night was the start of his 2020 reelection campaign.

He fucking knows as soon as he is out of office he is toast, he is going to get indicted.

I don't like to put negativity into the universe but I foresee a similar fate befall Donald that befell Manafort. Trump's crime family is going to lose their worldly possessions and even with a Pence pardon possible jail time.
Taking everything they have would be like a jail sentence.

This would have been something worthy of the House Oversight Committee's attention.

abused his power and bamboozled the networks into giving him a free nationwide commercial in prime time! Rachel Maddow couldn't figure out why he would do this pointless Oval Office address now, and this answers her question--but come on, I mean Elizabeth Warren already announced her candidacy and started campaigning already, so why are we so worked up about the crook-in-chief starting his campaign early?

of having something important to say. Instead we got nine minutes of Stephen Miller's paranoia recited without emotion by the worst president (and possibly worst person) in the world.

Because again this is just another scam . He'll raise funds for his own legal bills, not to run again with.
