So many families would be more secure-- maybe quit one job out of three, maybe buy a car, maybe fix up the house-- if there was just a little bit more every year.

And lest we forget, Sarah Palin's state has this-- the citizens' share of oil revenues.

We have an extremely productive workforce, but wages have never kept up with productivity gains. This could be a universal "productivity dividend"-- like we are shareholders in our country's vast wealth (as we are or should be).

Rather I think the goal should be focused on increasing corporate taxes significantly for companies based on how much they make before taxes.
The larger the number of employees the company employees that earn 500% or more over the poverty level inside the US then the lower their taxes are.

I have been following him for awhile and like the UBI along with the rest of his extensive platform.

for people to spend on other things.

Universal income won't be enough if there isn't any health care, social security, or other benefits.

raising the minimum wage would be a helpful step for the next 5-10 years, and give relief to many

however, in 10-15 years a lot of the jobs done by humans, especially those minimum wage gigs, will be handled by automatons of various kinds.

long term, we need to prepare for survival in a society where holding a steady job at any wage is not the norm.
