offered to CUT taxes for the middle class BEFORE the election (extend the Bush tax cuts for the middle class only), and the Republicans have REFUSED to do this unless the tax cuts are extended for the rich also.

Second, I seriously doubt that a man who's made his fortune by EXPLOITING EVERY SINGLE LOOPHOLE in the Tax Code (up to and including writing off $70 000 worth of food for his Dressage horse as a 'business expense') is going to close any loopholes that the wealthy use to avoid taxes. Fact is, they're most likely to lower marginal rates, and then eliminate all the deductions that the middle class typically use, like mortgage deductions.

EVERYONE will get a tax break on income up to $250,000. EVERYONE! Not just the middle class.

The rich need not complain, they will get the same tax break everyone else gets. The fact that they want more shows they are greedy.

...voice trailing off in disappointment, he at least got a bunch of DUers to watch his segment!

Ha!
