President Obama's Speech at the DNC: A Different Perspective

This video was shot from my seat in the Time Warner Cable Arena using an iPhone. The wall at the front of the balcony had a nine-inch-high glass partition which I rested the phone against it to keep it stable. Then I dangled the iPhone's earbud microphone over the edge of the balcony in an effort to eliminate the sound of people applauding next to me.

I think it came out pretty well. There are parts of the speech you can't hear because of all the cheering, but if you turn your sound up loud it's almost like being there!
