TYT: Obnoxious Advice From World's Richest Woman

"The richest woman in the world has a message for all you normals out there: Becoming rich is as easy as putting down that beer and getting off your ass. Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart wrote that there is "no monopoly on becoming a millionaire," in a column in Australian Resources Magazine, according to the AFP.

"If you're jealous of those with more money, don't just sit there and complain," Rinehart wrote. "Do something to make more money yourself -- spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working."

Rinehart has a point, working hard is one way to make a lot of money. Another way is to inherit a boatload of it and turn that wealth into more wealth. Rinehart may be more familiar with the second route...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Gina Rinehart is so cruelly insensitive to the problems of others.

And here goes: If I had Gina Rinehart's money, I would hire a fashion consultant, a dietician and a personal trainer.

Ms. Rinehart may have have inherited a lot of money and have had a head start when it comes to making money, but it appears to me that she also inherited some genes that make it very difficult for her to maintain a healthy weight. If I had her money, I would do something to improve myself and deal with my genetic problem.

I'm not criticizing people who are overweight. But many of them would seek a lot of medical help if they had Gina Rinehart's money, and she should too.

If she ever needs to have surgery, her risks will be much higher because of her obesity. It's a shame for a person with all her advantages and all her money to be so careless about her health. Doesn't have to be super thin. But she should seek help to try to bring her weight to a reasonable level.

Most of us -- small or large -- don't have the financial wherewithall to hire someone to help us build muscle or lose weight. She does.

Wonder whether her obsession about getting rich is over-compensation for other problems she has.

What is difficult for the very rich to understand is that many if not most middle class people made different choices and really don't want the wealth that she has. We just want to have a world in which everyone has a chance to live in dignity. That's why we want her to pay more of her excess money in taxes.

She could choose to have different health. Wonder why she hasn't?
