What I hate is that Letterman's chair makes him so much higher/taller than the guests' and that makes the guests look too 'small'.
Same thing is done on Bill O'Reilly's show.

I worked for a corporation back in the 70s, the CEO was an ex-IBM man, he told me back that having the bosses chair higher than the other chairs in the office was a 'power' thing - gives off a subliminal message to everyone of who is the most important person in the room.

So, I really HATE that Letterman's chair makes him look so much taller than Our President.

I'm an oldster. Retired last week. I love this man and the more I hear him the more I like him.

I've been fortunate enough to be able to see him in smaller settings. When he looks into your eyes, you just know he cares deeply.
