People had told me it was good. I didn't share their opinion.

between the Babs and the Gaga versions, so why? And the Bradley/Gaga showed me zero attraction for each other much less for me.

And that song, not TCHAIKOVSKY for me.

I appreciate what she was doing at first but now she just seems like another not very talented but already on the inside who we will have to listen to over and over. YMMV, a lot of people think she is great. I like Bradley Cooper OK but would not go to this movie if you bought my ticket and gave me a bottle of wine.

I don't dislike her. Cooper is cardboard to me. So you haven't seen the movie? I do that with almost all of the awards shows, judge without seeing them, but did see this one.

I have no intention supporting someone that gains popularity doing one thing and then is judged as a talent in everything else. It seems like so much is that way.

I hope it did not sound like I judged the movie, it is just that I have no intention of wasting one second on GaGa.

He's the more interesting character and really 'who it's about' in the end ... and I love that it seems like he basically just steps off the street to just 'act like himself' in the movie. Not saying it's a great acting performance, I just like him in the movie. And "Watch Closely Now" is a kick-ass tune ...

He worked so hard to do this film and make it right for Freddie's memory. I thought he did a great job, they all did.

To go ahead and respond to your next post, I never saw this as best picture material. I loved it but... Good for them. I would love to see Rami get the Oscar.

I wanted Amy Adams to win for the lead role, but she lost to Patricia Arquette.
