well, I didn't get what I want for my birthday...
"it" is still president!! 
But....my best friend of 39 years made me a nice breakfast and is working on my favorite cake - her birthday is in 2 days so I get to repay the kindness (and she will always be younger than me!). Talking heads are playing on Echo...I am going to do a blog, then walk the dog, then plant the first seeds of the season. And I get to see the Patriots play what will be quite a game tonight. Not bad
Having a birthday on this date means every four years I am either delighted or depressed. Nuff said....Hoping that when I turn 65 it is a politically joyous day!
Despite "it", life is good - I am a very fortunate person....and appreciate the friendship of all of you here at my go-to for news and politi-chats.
