Pants are getting tight. It's back to the weight loss grind for me.

Has anyone here tried hypnosis for weight loss? How has that worked out for you? My main concern is that they wouldn't be able to hypnotize me.

I don't have a problem losing weight when I set my mind to it. I just have trouble keeping it off.

I'm going back on keto. That worked great for me last year.

and it worked for me. It's expensive but I got it free from work. The main deal is to eat only when you're actually hungry and to eat slowly until you're not quite full, then quit. It takes at least half an hour between when you stop eating and your brain registers it. Drink water with a splash of orange juice. NO SUGAR ever. Other than sweets, nothing is forbidden. You slowly get used to waiting to eat until you're hungry and stopping before you're stuffed. I'd do keto and add these suggestions about eating slowly and stopping before you're stuffed. If you party and overdo it, you have a few days to get back before the extra weight sticks. Weigh yourself every day and keep records of what you eat. I do it in excel. It makes it easy to see what causes weight gain. For me, I just can't drink alcohol any more if I want to lose, so I try to limit it to one beer a week. Also, they say wine is a problem for many, and I'm one of those. I'm learning to love craft beer.

I've been known to indulge in beer, but I don't have a problem laying off of it.
