We may have spotted a parallel universe going backwards in time

Strange particles observed by an experiment in Antarctica could be evidence of an alternative reality where everything is upside down

https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg24532770-400-we-may-have-spotted-a-parallel-universe-going-backwards-in-time/

IN THE Antarctic, things happen at a glacial pace. Just ask Peter Gorham. For a month at a time, he and his colleagues would watch a giant balloon carrying a collection of antennas float high above the ice, scanning over a million square kilometres of the frozen landscape for evidence of high-energy particles arriving from space.

When the experiment returned to the ground after its first flight, it had nothing to show for itself, bar the odd flash of background noise. It was the same story after the second flight more than a year later.

While the balloon was in the sky for the third time, the researchers decided to go over the past data again, particularly those signals dismissed as noise. It was lucky they did. Examined more carefully, one signal seemed to be the signature of a high-energy particle. But it wasn’t what they were looking for. Moreover, it seemed impossible. Rather than bearing down from above, this particle was exploding out of the ground.

That strange finding was made in 2016. Since then, all sorts of suggestions rooted in known physics have been put forward to account for the perplexing signal, and all have been ruled out. What’s left is shocking in its implications. Explaining this signal requires the existence of a topsy-turvy universe created in the same big bang as our own and existing in parallel with it. In this mirror world, positive is negative, left is right and time runs backwards. It is perhaps the most mind-melting idea ever to have emerged from the Antarctic ice – but it might just be true. …

... behavior can be done by reversing time, treating it like normal matter traveling into the past.

If there's an "anti-matter universe", then I assume it's anti-matter would be like our normal matter traveling backwards in time too.

The other day I noticed that the kitchen clock indicated 8:32 and when I walked to the bedroom that clock indicated 8:35. I thought that was really strange and went back to the kitchen and it was still at 8:32. I figured that there must be some kind of time warp in the hall between the two rooms. I know that it is true because I have tested it several times since then. Time jumps ahead from the kitchen to the bedroom, and reverses back going the other way. I am going to get a stop watch and see if I can determine exactly where the portal is located in the hall. I want to borrow a GPS because I have a hunch that there will also be a transporter effect at that time portal. I may be able to rig something together using several mirrors, the microwave oven, some tinfoil and a flashlight. Very strange.

Just try pissing into the portal until you find the point where it pisses back at you. Then you bring out the easy-bake...I mean microwave oven.

edit: (I forgot to say that I meant that comment in complete jest. One should never piss into an active time portal/dilation point. It can lead to odd questions and situations later or even before the peeing event occurs. Just trust me on that one, you probably don't want to hear the details )

It was 2016 when I started saying that I felt as though we'd been transported to an alternate universe. The change was not dramatic enough to see it all at once but it seemed something was off. It was enough to make for an unsettled feeling but nothing I could put my finger on. Ever since then it's been becoming more so by the day and now the attitudes and norms have become almost unrecognizable from what they were before.

It's as though the alternate reality has a frequency like dark matter that pulls in and then reverses the energy frequency of whatever orbits too close to it. On a much smaller and personal scale it would be similar to the way Dr. Birx, Lindsay Graham and a slew of Rep Members of Congress have done. Get too close to tRump's orbit and you become trapped in the influence of dark matter.

Little too much for a Wednesday night, maybe. I spend a lot of time in my head.
