It's 6:14 and I have 5 meat loafs cooking in the oven.

Dishwasher has been emptied, bills paid, registers and budget update, garbage bagged up, other dishes soaking in the sink which i'll hand wash soon.

Have a long list of projects to do today so I needed an early start.

Do you have to cook them longer if you do that? I wanted to cook several and freeze all but the one I planned to eat that day. I never knew how. So, I didn't do it.

I have one bill left to pay this month. It'll be later today when they finally open and I can call them. My hometown still doesn't have it where you can pay online. I guess I should be jumping for joy that I can call them and pay it.

The recipe calls for 30 minutes before adding the topping but I cook them for 45. After adding the ketchup, mustard and brown suger topping (well mixed), the recipe calls for cooking for an additional 30 minute. I use a temperature probe at this point and cook till the internal temp is about 165.

Bring dog to vets

Get mail

mow the yard

mow the yard at the small house

Plant the cabbage, broccoli and brussels sprouts

replace the light bulb in my MIL's refrigerator

replace an outdoor light for my daughter-in-law

fold and put away clothes

finish washing all dishes

I think I can get this all done today.

I have exactly zero meatloaves in the oven, or anywhere else. I have not emptied the dishwasher, paid bills or bagged the garbage. I'm still in my pajamas, drinking coffee and cruising the internet. Pretty soon I will get dressed, have lunch, do some gardening and maybe a little cleaning, then more internet and TV. My spirit animal is the sloth.

Please send me some meat loaf...

Just myself, my brother and my sister in law on the deck. But eating leftovers from a hotel pan of baby back ribs, mexicorn with butter sauce, and cornbread...good eating, a lot of scrubbing and a surprise leftover baking pan from chicken breasts a few days ago....Pan was foil lined but....another scrubbing project. Did you know that a surprise "scrub the pan" can be a cool memory?

After my wife and I had meatloaf sandwiches while we watched a couple of episodes of "Boardwalk Empire". I'm up for a bit now as I'm thirsty and craved juice. I'll go back to bed soon. I'm babysitting a 14 month old today but i hope to get a few other things done.

Didn't get everything done yesterday that I had hoped to do but am happy.

Dog has a UTI and the bill came to $440. A month of babysitting will recoup that.

I am a total lazy slob. I manage to get things taken care of, but I can't hold a candle to you.

On the other hand, my life is pretty easy and stress free. I am quite a lazy shit though.

Running the dishwasher, cleaned up the kitchen, updated my daily to-do list, got chicken out of the freezer to thaw and cook for dinner tonight, disinfected high touch areas downstairs and soon it will be light enough outside for me to begin work in the garden. Before going outside, I'll hand wash the items that can't be put in the dishwasher.
