Someone either let go of a pet alligator (or crocodile - I don't know the difference), or it escaped (illegal pet), and it was "found" sunning itself on the porch of a man stepping outside in his bathrobe to get his newspaper. Fortunately, he looked where he was going.

They aren't pets, they don't understand commands, and you never know when they'll flip out.
Looks like this one equates man with food, could be garbage or treats. Not good for either party.
