Need a sense of humor - somebody was very disrespectful to me today.

I am struggling to be amused (the comments are already funny), but still fighting the completely PISSED OFF.

Any chance anyone here has a funny story to share about how somebody who was rude got what was coming to them when being an idiot bit them in the bottom?

Thank you in advance!

shooting me the bird when I wouldn't speed up (the fine for speeding in these zones is double or triple normal and unbelievable, not to mention the chance of hitting/killing someone).... finally zoomed off when we hit an open area. A mere three miles later, his ass was sitting on the side of the highway with State Patrol nailing him. I figure he's going to have a $300 or $400 ticket

Not "ha ha" funny, but a nice little bit of karma at work.

I was driving my little Chrysler PT Cruiser and was being bullied & harrassed by this huge aircraft-carrier-sized pickup truck. I switched lanes to let him go by, then he suddenly dropped back behind me like a shot. I looked ahead and saw a highway patrol car edging on to the freeway. I thought he was going to zap me, even though I wasn't speeding. But I passed the trooper without incident. Then the pickup truck passed him, and *ZAP* the trooper hit the lights and pulled the guy over. I'm pretty sure it was for the road rage and dangerous driving.

I got a lot of satisfaction out of that...

and the grinding hours on the highway are all made worth it when I see those impatient asses pulled over getting a ticket. It happens often enough that it's fun.

And it's not like I'm super pokey - I keep the cruise control around 75~78 - but people get on my ass and I move over or they pass me while I'm in the center lane (I only go into the left lane to pass but I don't get on peoples rear ends like I was their proctologist) like they were shot out of cannons...

But I hope I never have to see another poor bastard like the one on the motorcycle several months ago..No way he passed me going less than 90+ and he was weaving in and out across all lanes. Sure enough, many miles down the road I saw the emergency lights and when I got to them the bike was there on the side of the road and it was destroyed. I didn't actually see him - the emergency vehicles were blocking the view (on purpose I'm sure and that's fine with me). There were several civilian vehicles stopped though and I assume they stopped to help or be witnesses and I could tell some where crying and I just felt sick. I like when they get tickets but not injured or killed like that (or killing someone else either).

around Christmas time, I was in a store that was very crowded.

I got my stuff and after waiting in line to be checked out by a new cashier, I noticed that the discounts hadn't been applied to a couple of items. I told her, and she snottily said, "Well, YOU didn't tell me before I checked you out!"

Her supervisor was nearby, and, hearing that response, she came over and said, "The customer isn't supposed to tell you!"

I had mixed feelings. Vindication and a bit of embarrassment for the girl.

Oh, and I had a former boss who could be the biggest asshole in the world sometimes, but one thing he wouldn't stand for was for people being rude to his employees, especially myself and the bookkeeper. We were out at the front desk and the first ones people interacted with when people called or came in.

He was an asshole, but I had to give him that, anyway.

Years ago I worked at a liquor store and our manager was ornery and mean but he would not stand for anyone harassing us in any way (You wouldn't believe the constant stream of sob stories and bullshit you have to hear from people that want liquor but for whatever reason we can't sell it to them - especially people with no ID or who were already too drunk.)

He made it clear that we would never ever get in trouble for refusing service to anyone we thought shouldn't be served. But we could go to jail for serving someone who shouldn't have been...

a few weeks ago I was running errands and saw some asshole honking and harassing a woman in the parking lot because she wasn't loading her car quick enough for him to get past her and into the aisle/parking spot he was aiming for. That sounds kind of bad - but it was worse because she was in a handicapped spot, so clearly she had some limitations. And worse - the parking lot was about 75% empty, he could have gone down any aisle and found more empty spots than full ones.

I was on my bike, I went slightly out of my way to pedal nearer to the woman because I didn't want her feeling isolated and like a potential target out there. I mentioned to her that when I see people acting like total asses out in public, instead of being mad my first thought now is "Thank god I'm not married to THAT one!" She was able to laugh about it, and I liked her attitude: I'm not gonna move any faster than I'm moving whether he's honking or not.

He didn't get immediate comeuppance that we could see, but living his life in anger and nastiness is karma enough.

I reported to the president. While I was on vacation, the board hired a new president, who brought an executive VP with him. He wanted to bring his guy in to do my job, but he couldn't fire me without board approval, and the board loved me. This guy was a total dick to me - gave me the only bad review I've ever received - every employee except me received a Christmas bonus, and they all got raises.

The first two years, that was the best job I ever had. The last six months, it was the worst job I ever had.

I have no idea how his wife found out he was doing the controller.

I was one of only two customers at the time. The employee told the man in front of me that there were no biscuits left. They were sorry but they would have to make some more. It would take a few minutes. He went nuts. He ranted and raved about how bad the restaurant was. How he needed his biscuit or his meal would not be complete and he could not enjoy it. He also said that he was to important to wait and stormed out. I stood quietly behind him waiting to pay for my meal. As I pulled out my wallet to pay, an employee came from the back and put a biscuit on my plate. Apparently, they found an extra biscuit in the back while he was ranting. The employee decided that I should get since I was not acting like a jerk.

as he became older and realized he was never going to move out of his mother's house (or have a bank account, credit card, etc., bad personal financial management) and he was also very passive-aggressive. Everything that went wrong for him was always someone else's fault, no matter what. He'd treat something roughly and it would break, then our boss "shouldn't have bought such flimsy/cheap/etc.,." He'd do your job to "help" you, but if you did the same for him, you were implying that he didn't do his job well enough and were trying to make him look bad. The best he could do was grudgingly compromise, "Well, it was really both our faults." I could have felt some sympathy or pity for him if he just wasn't so relentlessly horrid.

After making everyone miserable for months (my boss wouldn't give him the satisfaction of firing him, no unemployment for him!) my co-worker finally found another job (pizza delivery for a national chain) and quit.

We found out that a few months later the former co-worker had been fired for sexual harassment; it seems that one of his new co-workers was a post-operative transsexual and he made a nasty little comment to her to the effect that "they should have done your face when they did the rest of you." She reported him to HR, he tried to downplay it, "I was just kidding!" Management had a Zero Tolerance policy for harassment (and they didn't think it was funny either). So out the door he went.

I see him around on occasion, I have no idea what he does for a living, but his attitude hasn't changed at all so I have no doubt he's pretty much where he'll always be. Where he's put himself.

Don't know if that helps any...

But my personal fav is the a-hole pub in a car covered with W stickers passed me, flipped me off and 2 miles down the road they were upside down in the woods, I did the Nelson laugh and called the police but did not stop.

There were only a couple of places one could legally pass. This guy in a big pickem up truck got behind me just after the last of those places and he was pissed I was only driving the speed limit. After passing me illegally he went around a curve a little too fast to notice the tree limb sticking a little bit out into the road that proceeded to scratch all the way down the length of his passenger side.

I still chuckle to myself when I think about it.

My step-mother was commuting home from work (DC area) and traffic was crawling. She was in the right lane and noticed a BMW flying up the shoulder. There were jersey barriers all over the place ahead and he had no where to go, and certainly nowhere to cut in, so he spun out in the siding and sat there with everyone looking at him thinking "ASSHOLE!"

upscale bar as a waitress. One night as I was carrying a tray of drinks past a table, one guy was flailing his arms as he was talking and hit my tray. This in turns up set a bottle of beer on the tray and it spilled over his shoulder and into his shirt pocket which held his cigarettes. He immediately jumped up grabbed my arm and demanded I buy him another pack and pay to have his shirt cleaned. The bar tender also the manager (also a woman) came over grabbed the pack of cigarettes pulled out the wet ones (most of the pack was still dry)threw it at him and told him, nobody treats her girls that way and he can take what was left of the pack and leave and not come back. I learned later he was a big wig local politician in the town.
A little while later I went to the back to clean one of my tables and there was a $50 tip from a couple who had only 2 drinks a piece. Don't know if they did it because they saw the commotion, but I like to think they did.
