I watched a little bit of that game and they looked good, but it might as well be a scrimmage as far as they are concerned.

I'm glad those kids aren't playing for nothing, especially due to something that's no fault of their own.

I was at the game and thoroughly enjoyed watching Jake "the fake" Plummer eat it!

But I loved the game at home before it.

We took down the goalpost and marched down Mill Ave. with it. It was fun!

I never had a more painful loss than that one. I had season tickets that year - It was the closest and probably the only chance they'll have at a national championship and lost by Germaine (Mesa HS alum) hitting Boston late in the game. Plummer did his part in that game.

Also my Cardinals lost in similar fashion in the Super Bowl but it wasn't as painful.

We were robbed. That steeler TD wasn't a TD!

I told the Cardinals to block the punt since the offense can't score and sure enough they did. They did make me sweat w/ a starting field position of 1st & goal at the 2 but they came through.

But my guy has cash on the Pats. I'm a bit torn....but, shhhhhh, I'm cheering for my Cards!!!!!

Where are you in the Valley? We're in Chandler and HATE the drive to the Cards' games, so we just don't go anymore!

Pats were favored at 13.5 most places and didn't understand that the Cards were given no chance. Aside from QB/line play they have tons of talent.

They were #7 in defensive yards per pass attempt last season but it was top 5 results in the final 8 games that carried the average up. Now NE could go an entire game without a TD since 2003.

On edit - Oh yeah I live in West Mesa. I never go because I don't have a car. The light rail isn't bad but I hate taking buses into Phoenix, plus they don't run in Mesa on Sundays.
