Not me. I'd love to be able to wear #4, but I have certain issues with the laws of physics that prevent that. I was thinking she might have been better making that in the mullet style that's around these days.

is a horror -- uninspired cut and badly made -- I am surprised he didn't get even more flack for it. The heart back dress -- I have no idea what she was thinking. Her butt is exactly where most women want 3-4 tiers of heavy fabric draped around. Not. And the color choice -- bizarre. I adored the long dress and didn't mind the print at all. The cut is beautiful and it moved well. The winning dress was the correct choice -- fresh, clean, and adaptable to a variety of body types.

I think the pink would have been in the bottom if Michelle's scores hadn't been so high.
I was really surprised Tim didn't stop her from doing the heart cut out. That was never going to turn out well. I actually liked the pink and black dress, but I can see the point about it not being innovative. Still, it was far better than the Mary Kay number. That heart dress was a horror all the way around, but I agreed with Heidi that the cut out put it over the top is terms of sheer awfulness.

even for a junior. I thought I saw her making a black liner for it and I expected it to be much smaller and outlined in the black fabric, much more tailored. I was not expecting it to look like someone cut out the back via flashdance style! Ick.

I liked the print on the long dress, too. I have always been drawn to prints although I couldn't wear a dress like that because I am short and top heavy.

I thought the pink dress was horrible and I like pink. His tailoring was terrible! If he wanted a boring dress, he could have at least made it perfectly smooth.

Layana's outfit was raked unnecessarily, but I would have liked to have seen the dress remade in whatever fabric Nina thought was more appropriate.

Michelle won hands down. And I loved the personality conflicts that occurred between her and Daniel. It goes to show you, that it all comes down to vision and talent. I hope Daniel learns from it. His dress is perfect for Easter--and that is all.

Richard will be the next one out. I think Layana is right about his abilities.

I don't know what Samantha was thinking. The colors were all wrong. The fabric looked heavy. In the end, the dress looked like one of those European maid dress up costumes.

It was a tough call by the judges, and although I would have preferred to have seen Richard leave, I think the judges made the right call.

I hope there's a fabric design contest coming up, because I would like to see what Patricia comes up with.

and that next challenge is the one where they design prints. They did that once in another season. But this time the Guggenheim is their inspiration. That should be cool.

I think Samantha is a better designer overall, but I agree her dress was the worst this week. I still don't understand why they didn't give Daniel more trouble over the Mary Kay number.

most women the best. Most women can't wear sleeveless dresses, or mini dresses (which are also not practical for working women).

So #1 the pink one, if well made, would look best on the avg Mary Kay saleswoman.

I like #4 the next. But most women can't go sleeveless, esp Mary Kay saleswomen, who are usu. over 40. Nos. 2 & 3 are ugly & inappropriate for working women, esp for over-40 ones, and esp where they are dealing with other women.

They design for young fashionista. If you watch the show, you'll notice the judges will say "that looks too old," and it is often something I like. Somehow it's not acceptable to design for women over 35.

but I got out of the habit of watching it when they changed stations. I still watch it once in a great while, but I've grown tired of it.

The outfits are all about being different, when that's not what women want and wear at all. Classics are classics.

The pink dress really would flatter most figures and look great, if the fabric were quality and if the dress were made skillfully (obviously this one in the pic was thrown together & not finished). It also makes the legs look good.

#4 is very pretty, but I think most women wouldn't look good in it. My hips and legs are my best features, so I sure wouldn't want to hide that and highlight bare fleshy arms and an ample busom. That would make me look fat. I can't wear it.
