"Interview With the Vampire" Too bloody? Need quick answer.

Looks interesting and I've picked it for our movie tonight.
Miz t. is a bit squeamish with violence and blood.
Unless it's 'bad guys' getting their just desserts.

What do you say?
OK, or not?
Thanks

1. Not nearly as bloody as you'd think. Most violence is simulated or suggested.

Decent flick, once you get past Tom Cruise.

If she is not a fan of horror I'd skip it. It's no event horizon but still.

10. Innocent people get killed. So if Miz t. is squeamish about that...

this is not the sort of movie for her.

It's bloody in that vampires have blood on the corners of their mouths sometimes, or dripping down their faces, and a few victims have somewhat bloody neck.

But what might disturb her is that the vampires (Brad Pitt is a good vampire) kill innocent people. That's how they sustain themselves.

But I loved the book, and liked the movie. But I like dark movies like that.

11. I actually thought it was one of Tom Cruise's better performances.

I'm not a big fan of horror -- especially not the "blood-and-gore genre", but I liked this enough to
watch it more than once.

And more memorable than IWTV, in my opinion.
