Animals are lovely!1 They're great!1 They're cute!1 So why do I comment when they put the whammy on one another and my dogs and me!1

So the full Spring was full of nesting birds (crows and mockingbirds) chasing and squawking at the neighborhood tuxedo cat, my dogs, and me. So this past week the next generation have apparently emptied the nest and it's. too. quiet.

So there's this I Got You Babe thing. It's always a heart tugger, well when it turns up suddenly after years of not hearing it. And that happened the other day. It was a long version, and besides those two singing, the oboe hook hooked me every time. Later I tried playing it on a satellite jukebox, and some raucous jazzed up version remix turned up.

Whatever went on with those two, they looked perfect together. After they split, Cher made the rounds for years with the story of what a beast the fellow was, and I never doubted her and it sure looked like he was playing catch-up out of envy of her Oscar and status by his Rethug politics. But when he croaked, I was utterly flabbergasted, like WTF, when she did the exact opposite and said she always loved him or how great he was or the whole thing.
