So, even WGN has had enough...

Chicago Cubs leaving WGN radio

After 197 losses in two seasons, WGN used an opt-out clause in its contract due to declining ratings and revenue last fall, and couldn't come to terms with the Cubs on a new deal.

This is a big (local) deal. The Rickets need to get real. They can't charge premium prices for a shitty product on the field.

I knew this kind of shit would happen if they were allowed to buy the team. Can't say I blame WGN for not wanting to deal with them.

As an Angels fan who's sick of seeing my team degrade and implode the last couple years, I definitely sympathize with Cubs fans.
