my little farm has been shaped by the folks i knew on du from long time.
just happened to know about their interests in food.
and they sent me links, and sent me seeds, and held my hand, and i have, HAVE made a difference where i am.

yeah, there are phonies and trolls here, but there are some of the truest hearts i have ever known.

the late beherenow and i held each others hand over the phone, dealing with bipolar children.
her daughter was in my city. she was attending my alma mater. she knew i was here. she knew there was a mom here, a tiger mom like her, who would go break down the child's door if need be.

and all i had to really do, was to be real.

but all in all, things are good. tough moments, but all in the right direction.
