Some trivia about Holy Thursday.

On Holy Thursday in England, the wells were blessed and decorated with boughs and flowers, though well worship was prohibited in 1102 by Anselm of Canterbury.

Rain water caught on Holy Thursday and bottled is believed to keep good for any length of time and have curative properties.

The master gardener treats his laborers to baked peas and pork every year on Holy Thursday.
