He wasn't up to the test
He wasn't properly mothered
He too readily spurned
What the rest of us learned
Cats can't rhyme worth a shit uncovered.

And of that he really was glad
But when 'twas all said and done
Though he found it great fun.
On that last line his meter kind of got away from him just a tad

whenever I do a downward dog at home (I'm not into yoga, but downward dog is a wonderful stretch) I inevitably have an upside-down feline face yowling into my face
