We have them at our local beach, but they are only 6-9 footers. Great Whites generally don't start chomping on people till they are around 12". We get the juveniles because if they venture farther out to deeper water the big ones will kill and eat them.

Saltwater crocodiles. Sea snakes. Box jellyfish. Stonefish. Taipan snakes. Brown snakes. Funnel web spiders. Other horribly lethal, venomous things. Sharks are probably the least of your worries.
