Love Song from Mutiny On The Bounty

aka "Follow Me". This is from the Academy Award nominated soundtrack of the 1962 film Mutiny On The Bounty with notable actors Richard Harris, Trevor Howard, and Marlon Brando. This music to me was magical as a child when I first saw this film in the theater. It creates a dream-like atmosphere that really elevates the film in my opinion. It was written by Polish composer Bronislau Kaper and was a perfect accompaniment to the love story of Fletcher Christian and Maimiti. Tahitian actress Tarita Teripaia received a Gloden Globe nomination for her performance. She and Brando married after the film, a marriage which lasted ten years and produced two children.

Actually I'm happy for any response to my threads at all, as usually they immediately sink into oblivion. The things I like to post about and which interest me perhaps are a bit too obscure.
