the guitar player in that band has had a career in the legal profession. He's been a defense lawyer for 30 years and has served as a DA and public defender in several northern California counties. He also for a time ran a law office in San Francisco providing pro bono legal services for homeless people. I've met him and he's a real nice guy. Still plays music, too.

He is possibly the only District Attorney in history that can be seen smoking a joint in the Woodstock movie.

on his own or with an attorney's help and passed the state bar exam. CA State Bar managed to ban reading the law a number of years ago.
I've dealt with Barry professionally in the legal field and also a few years later at a phone company I worked for. He's also one of my twin brother's buddies. He's everything you say.
