"Dad, this is the 21st century. Here, use my iPad."
The damn fly never knew what hit him.

I miss newpapers - there was nothing like eating breakfast and reading the newspaper - my ipad just does not cut it, much like I will forever take a book over a Kindle / Ipad

(12,010 posts)I've tried reading on an iPad, but it just isn't the same. I don't retain the information as well.

(31,302 posts)but the carrier is very unreliable. Stopping/starting for vacation becomes a royal pita.
It took almost 10 days after our most recent trip for the carrier to get the papers
started again and manage to keep delivering them. Very annoying.
I have 2 papers delivered on Sunday, the local one for the coupons, the second is the New York Times, the sensual pleasure of the NYT and Eggs Bennies, or bagels with lox & onions on my porch...well...Sunday mornings require more then an Ipad. I do read both and Wapo on line the rest of the week...but Sunday, it's Sunday morning.
next time ask for the old phone book...
