Totus Tuus, by Henryk Gorecki ( pronounced Goretch-ky). 1933-2010.

Performed by the Choir of New College Oxford, on the "AGNUS DEI" CD. Label is Erato. An absolutely wonderful collection of choral music.

Totus tuus means, Totally yours, with respect to devotion to Mary.
sort of like an Ave Maria with different words.
Mater mundi salvatoris - mother of the savior of the world.



The Catholics practically have the market cornered on good sacred music, and most of it is in Latin. Except for the German Requiem by Brahms.
