I had a truely awakening experience today......

This morning my little liberal wildcat, better know to you all as Supernova, was taking me to work and we stopped into our local Bojangles so that I could grab some breakfast.

The young lady at the drive through took my order and at the end of it she yelled "senior discount"

Ok, WTF? I am only 50. I am now a "senior"?

Of course my little liberal wildcat laughed her ass off at my dismay...........

1. Haven't you noticed that as you get older the youngsters at the drive through look like children?

To them anyone over 40 is old. Little do they know how much fun us old timers are having.

that at this point anyone who is under 30 looks like a kid to me. Funny how that works.

She and I were sitting in a restaurant not too long ago and overhear some 20 somethings talking. I just looked at her and said "I am so glad that I am not in my 20's any more". She wholeheartedly agreed with me.

I think I posted here about a lady in front of me at the store who got asked about the senior discount. She didn't look anywhere near a senior discount to me and I was as shocked as she was! In fact, I think I looked older than she did and I have never been asked.

Sorry for you!

4. I think I was about that age when I started receiving unsolicited senior discounts.

At first I didn't like it, but then I figured WTF! I'll take it. Now I ask for them.
