This might belong in the mental health topic, but..

I like insects..in fact I wanted to be an entomologist ... nowadays, I just watch baby spiders swinging on their little spider strings in the wind of the fan, and gnats that I try to capture, and when I do I release...like a cat fish..and I wonder if the gnat thinks it is a game?

I may give human qualities to insects, but they existed long before us...and will exist long after us...so who is the smarter?

I can walk out in my back yard and watch natures very own light show, brought to me by thousands of fireflys, sometimes called lightening bugs, correctly called Lampyridae.

These bioluminescence bugs are a treat to watch!

tied strings to June bugs....caught fireflies in jars to light the night..fed fly larvae (aka maggots) to ants as an experiment...fed ants to a spider...I have always loved bugs....but to them I am a serial killer
