Meet John Strange

In the 16th century a man named John Strange was born in Bideford, UK. In his youth he fell from a cliff and did not sustain any injuries. Later on in life, someone shot an arrow at his head, but it did not penetrate his skull. Later still, a man tried to throw him over the Long Bridge, but they were interrupted by something and did not succeed.


He was the mayor of Bideford from 1643 until his death in 1646.
