Once the 19th hits, that is when I kinda get in the mood.
On the weekend before Christmas, that is when I do all my food groceries shopping.
Fortunately, I don't have to do that this year, I just have to cook, so I am not even worrying about it.

Meaning, I may not get in the mood till the 22nd or 23rd.

I was about to rag on you for even mentioning Christmas music, but then you brought up just about the only format I can stand to have it presented to me in, and I had to give you props.

The channel includes Mannheim Steamroller, and many others.

They are playing "Linus And Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi right now.

Too many years of retail and listening to Christmas music nonstop have ruined it for me.

Working Retail, ruins any semblance of holiday spirit that one might attempt to have and we have a radio station here that goes all Christmas the day after Halloween and run through New Years I believe. I turn them off completely.

Jim Nabors, Julie Andrews, Chanticleer, and many more. Of course, we've been getting ready for our own xmas concert since September. We perform 12/13 and 12/20. After that, I can concentrate on Christmas for our family.

We do an "open house" for family on xmas day, just finger food, dips, cookies, veggie tray and sandwiches (so it's pretty easy).

I'm now only watching TV shows I've DVR'd so I can zip past the commercials. The one with the three singing women and the one with the men slapping their bare bellies have got to be the absolute worst I've ever had the misfortune to see.
