They took it to some land they leased that was one mile away as the crow flies. My grandmother swears it beat them home.

I used to do that; gave it up. The RG used to laugh at me.

Those two may be gone, but two others will show up to take their place. I just learned to live with them.

It's not such a bad solution, really.

I hauled them about 5 miles away.

I'm starting to wonder if some of them are repeats.

Or you just have a family. We had five once - didn't know it until I saw them all very early one morning. I'd only noticed one to three at a time in the chicken run.

I thjnk our group was a mom and four babies/teenagers. I growled at them enough that they don't come around much.

humane society told me that years ago for chipmunks.

I used to spray a small red dot on their backs to identify any returnees.
