Give your Walking Dead Season 6 Predictions

If Melissa McBride (Carol) was the MVP of Season 5, who's the MVP of Season 6?
Who's the biggest character to bite the dust?
Where are they (location) come the Season 6 Finale?

Mine:

Lennie James (Morgan) - MVP
Glen bites the dust
They find the Hilltop colony by the season finale.

1) Maybe the Wolves found 2 or 3 herds and were able to coax them into combining into one gigantic herd?
2) Maybe some otherwise hidden settlements nearby were overrun and combined to make a gigantic herd?
3) The Wolves got several containers jammed full of walkers, let them loose near Alexandria and they combined with a few strays and small herds to form a mega herd.

Watching the early episodes it's clear he's wily and has strong survival instincts. I forgot he was a Pizza Delivery man.

The dynamic of Morgan and Rick is going to be interesting. Both of them started in the same place, and both of them have learned that compassion gets you no where. Morgan will become an ally.

because we're coming close to the point of where he dies in the comics. Of course, Andrea died in Season 3, but she is still alive in the comics and the comics are on the equivalent of season 8 or 9. Sophia is still alive in the comics as well, and she died in season 2 on the show. And, there is no Daryl or Sasha in the comics, while Abraham is Rick's #2 guy on the show (Daryl is the #2 guy on the show)

There were also rumors that Daryl might replace Glenn in dying, or that Daryl was going to die at the end of last season, but they never materialized.

Same with Carol. Not so sure for this year. Everyone has to have an interesting character plot in order to survive. Carol, especially, is unpredictable and now, devious for all the right reasons and for that she adds an entertainment factor. Daryl has tremendous survival skills in feral country, so we can still learn from him.

Glenn and Maggie are a hope that we can still propagate in the apocalyptic world. If the writers want to emphasize the concept that the Walking Dead are the end of humanity, then they can do that by killing off any hope by killing off one or the other. That would get the message across for me.

In the comics, Tyreese didn't have a sister, he had a teenage daughter, and Tyreese, his daughter and his daughter's boyfriend joined Rick's "gang" before getting to the farm. Since the daughter and her boyfriend felt hopeless, they tried to hang themselves together. She died, though, but he was not "successful", and he was wallowing in his grief when she reanimated. He then killed zombie daughter - right when Dad was walking in. Tyreese, in a fit of rage, then killed the boyfriend, despite his pleas that she was a zombie, because he thought he killed his daughter - not realizing she was zombie daughter. However, he eventually realized the boyfriend was right, and that was how they discovered that you didn't need to be bitten in order to turn.

About the only thing that the TV show kept about Tyreese was that he was a burly black guy who was a bad shot and used a hammer.

Rick is the main character, but I think Maggie is going to rise to a position of leadership.

Main character to die: Glenn or Daryl

Other Deaths: Gabriel the preacher, Jessie's son.

Mid Season finale - Carl gets shot and loses his eye
Season finale - the death of Glenn or Daryl with the introduction of Negan.

I think they'll get to Hilltop before the season finale.

Rick and Morgan struggle to make up in the first half of the season, but then make up over the second half. And, since he'll be the new "moral center" following in place of Dale, Hershel and Tyreese, he will be the person Negan takes out in the finale instead of Glenn or Daryl.

that would be a tremendous loss to have him around only for one season. The two actors make everything very real. Both are English, aren't they? Wonder what training these actors go through that make them stand out?

13. Yes, both Andy Lincoln and Lennie James are British

so is David Morrissey, the guy that played The Governor. Lauren Cohan, the woman that plays Maggie, was born in the US, but moved to the UK in her youth, so is essentially British.

I think a lot of British actors go through more formal training than US actors.

I had posted an article on here a month or two back about how there are not many really talented American young male actors out there (under 30 or so), and many top male roles are going to Brits, Australians, Canadians, etc. There are a ton of young and talented American actresses under 30, but not the case for men - Jennifer Lawrence, Shailene Woodley, Emma Stone, Amanda Seyfried, etc, and actresses just into their 30s like Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Kate & Rooney Mara, etc.

Perhaps it's because the American male roles are all about living fast and furious and they burn out on the L.A. scene? Like Corey Feldman and River Phoenix?

And then, I have heard complaints that child actors feel like they couldn't get adult roles to carry on their careers and thus, give up.

Interesting that young, American women are doing well, however. Though, that should not surprise anyone considering that the camera has never turned away from a pretty face.

it wasn't the burn out factor, but I think a lot of young American men get thrust into the spotlight very early and are fine when playing a child or teenager. However, once you head off into adulthood, the young American men have not had the schooling & formal training needed to play adult roles that require more depth and nuance.

I think it's also because that for young men in the US, there is the stigma that theater is for guys that are "gay" and/or not manly. So, a lot of potentially good performers are simply not acting/performing.

My daughter was in a theater camp last summer and it was like 55-60 girls and maybe 15 boys - I suspect it's very similar in many other theater camps/programs. More competition among girls and young women makes for better performers among the women, while less competition means that while it's easier for young men to get the parts when there is less competition, it also means that when the competition gets more serious, they're not as ready to get the parts because they've had it easier and are not as good.

It would just be gratuitous sadism. The producers and writers better not think they can get away with breaking the viewers' hearts every season or two. They'll start losing fans because of it.
