Well, USUALLY, I dislike the taste of pumpkins

Pumpkin pie? No, thanks!! Marinated as squash in a salad? I'd rather go hungry!

But........

My wife just made a hot pumpkin "soup"--really a thick purée-- with some curry, some ginger, some garlic, some Cajun spice, some sautéed onions and a dash of Cayenne pepper, and WOW!!!!!!!!

I look at pumpkins from both sides now..........
