The first season and then the one in New Orleans and the psych hospital were good. This is just too gory.

You almost have to will yourself to find a redeeming plot line, or really like the actors to follow the character's storyline.

The one that aired this week was the best, because it finally connected with the humanity of the individuals. i.e. Kathy Bates' son, who wanted her out of his life, realizes that she is the only person whose love he would never have to question, so he he does the unthinkable and gives her immortal life. They are now connected until eternity.

Angela Bassett: I will go through a great many torture sessions to find out what her character has to say, just because I like Angela Basset. And her character is important because what we now know is that Lady Gaga does not forgive unfaithfulness.

I enjoy watching Sarah Paulson too, and, at first I thought they had given her a limited, junkie role, but she is growing as she showed twisted compassion for the woman who killed her. (Kathy Bates)

In this last show, a mother reunites with her lost child, which suggests that death is not a barrier anymore. Not in Hotel. And we have the gory, architect of the hotel to "thank" for this open door into hell, where some people seem to be finding peace, despite the odds.

I am amazed how Evan Peters continues to change himself from role to role. He's a true character actor. Loved that response he made to the guy who said he googled him. "That sounds obscene."

And there are more high level actors yet to come. Michelle Pfeiffer, Donald Sutherland, Alexander Skarsgård.

But mainly because I loved Kathy Bates' kick ass Baltimore accent. Plus the Dandy character was so crazy but fun to watch.

The first season's the only one that's really been high quality though. The others have been enjoyable but more in terms of guilty pleasure.

Now that the whole vampire thing is being explained I like it a lot more. It was jumping around all over the place in the beginning with the ghosts.

I mean, it's not awful, just so damn weird and over the top. Lady Gaga seems to be on the show only for that reason.

I really like it. I also like seeing the same actors in each season playing different roles. I find that really interesting. Liz Taylor!!

Is "hotel" gory. yes. But it's not gratuitous to me. There is a story in each character.

And I don't usually watch "horror" type shows or movies but this one is different.
