we're on financial life support in my household and I just spent a month's salary. I don't care! They guy's not getting any younger (and neither am I). I figure this is probably my one and only chance to see him.

twice in recent years - Citi Field and Yankee Stadium. It cost $$ but the way I rationalized it was - I hadn't seen him since Shea Stadium, solo or with Wings so, pro-rated over 40 years it only cost pennies. When I got the tickets I danced around singing "I'm gonna see PAU-LL I'm gonna see PAU-LL." I did skip the Barclays Arena gig though.

How I know I'm getting old - one of the dates was my birthday and I considered bringing an "IT"S MY BIRTHDAY" sign but didn't because: 1) I'd have to get a more expensive seat on the floor; 2) I was concerned about bothering people behind me when I held up the sign; and last but not least 3) it would probably be too much trouble ( !!!!!)

I've never gone to see Ringo. I want to - none of us is getting any younger.

He was in San Francisco a couple years ago but the tickets were outrageous, though I might have been able to pull it off; HOWEVER, I would have had to stay all night in S.F., plus travel there would have put the cost up to WAY more than I could have afforded. Unfortunately, I have to go by myself as the Espoused One isn't interested. (sigh)

I never cared for Paul after the split but I did get to see Ringo a year and a bit ago. It was such fun. Great All Starr Band too.

Anyway, I understand that Beatlemaniac thing, totally understand it. Have a wonderful time! There is nothing better than getting to see people make the music that you have loved your whole life.

Last week I scored Paul Simon tickets. I so get it.

here a couple of years ago and the tickets were actually affordable. All the old geezers of my youth are dying off so I have to catch them while I still can.

We are trying to see the old favorites when they come through. We did see CS&N and I would say go if you get the chance again. They were worth it. The favorites we repeat if we can. This is our vacation since it is hard to get away from the farm.
