Wouldn't this be sometin'- American Pronghorn revival

Pronghorns are as American as wildlife gets. More American than the bald eagle, bison, or grizzly bear, because all of those animals have close relatives on other continents. Pronghorns (aka antelope, speed goat, and Antilocapra americana) are the only living species in the family Antilocapridae and found solely in North America.

Plans to energize and breed the American Pronghorn - Wouldn't it be something to see massive herds of these on what is left of the American Plains. Now if we can only keep those so-called hunters away from them.

They got together and said something along the lines,"Shit, if we keep killin' em , what'll my little boy Freddie shoot when he becomes a man with his own rifle?"

I don't buy that BS line of the "good" hunter .

I've seen them in the Texas panhandle, and you're bound to see clusters of them on any drive up I-25 to Denver; they even hang out around the Denver airport. And I have seen massive groups of them---hundreds and hundreds---along rural roads in New Mexico. The little goats seem to be in ample supply, from what I've seen over the last few years. Neat animals.

They were very common. It's kind of awesome seeing a herd of 200+ plus go from calmly grazing to flat out in an instant. It just takes one to spook, and they all start running. Fast.
