(62,387 posts)2. I tried to leash one of ours once
The leash went on, the cat went down on her side.
I thought that if I started walking, maybe dragging her, she would get on her feet and walk.
Drug her around the yard for a few minutes. She would not give, groaning in a low voice.
Until she saw a squirrel go up a tree, then we had a few minutes of excitement as she tried to wind around branches with that leash on.
Got her untangled, took her into the house, removed the leash, declared defeat and never got that leash out again.
Some of us have to be trained.
